Free ' N 'Easy Endurance trekker saddle:
I chose this saddle as it provides a large surface area where the pads make contact with the horses back. The design is based on the traditional army saddle (with which I am familiar - and it is great for horses backs). It has been modified to allow movement without creating pressure points. The seat is comfortable for the rider. There are numerous D-rings with which to attach equipment or saddlebags. For a journey of this length there was no other saddle which came close to providing comfort and functionality for both horse and rider.
